From 660a5d517aaab9187f93854425c4c63f4a09195c Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Paolo Bonzini Date: Tue, 5 May 2015 11:50:23 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] KVM: x86: save/load state on SMM switch MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit The big ugly one. This patch adds support for switching in and out of system management mode, respectively upon receiving KVM_REQ_SMI and upon executing a RSM instruction. Both 32- and 64-bit formats are supported for the SMM state save area.
